Thank you
August 21, 2026 - Goshen, NY - With respect and appreciation, today I announce that I will be leaving the office of Orange County Legislator.
It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the residents of Orange County as a member of the Legislature. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to represent the people of our county and to work alongside my fellow legislators, county leadership, and the dedicated employees of Orange County.
Throughout my time in office, I have always tried to approach my responsibilities with a commitment to serving the people of Orange County and doing what I believe is in the best interests of our communities. I am proud of the work we have accomplished during my tenure and grateful to the many people who supported me and gave me the opportunity to serve.
I want to sincerely thank the staff and my colleagues of the Orange County Legislature for their professionalism, cooperation, friendship, and dedication to our county. I have had the privilege of working with many outstanding people, and I will always value those relationships and the experiences we shared.
Most importantly, I want to thank the residents of Orange County who placed their trust in me. Being elected to represent you has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and I have never taken that responsibility for granted.
Public office is temporary, but the responsibility to our communities continues. I leave the Legislature with tremendous respect for the institution and for the many people who work every day to make Orange County a better place. Stay tuned for the next chapter of this journey.
