Senior Coupon Books for Farmers Market: UPDATE

July 24, 2026 - Port Jervis, NY - In partnership with the Orange County Office for the Aging, Orange County Legislator Tom Faggione distributed over 100 Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) coupon booklets to eligible seniors in the Port Jervis area at the farmers’ market July 18th.

Each booklet includes:

Five $5 coupons (total value $25), redeemable for fresh fruits and vegetables only at all participating New York State farmers' markets in OC and NYS. These coupons are valid throughout the entire 2026 farmers' market season.

Stats:

- Over $2,500.00 worth of coupons delivered to eligible seniors

- More than 100 booklets were distributed

- Helping area seniors, one coupon at a time
